Your child already knows things about the digital world that you don't. Pattern Makers helps them find the words for it, and helps you understand what they're actually experiencing.
The child isn't the student here, they're the researcher. I'm the translator, and I believe it's time for children to paint the future of the internet bright.
A creative programme for children ages 8-12

Hi, I'm Vesta.
My first experience in education was a teaching assistant at a Reggio Emilia early childhood centre. I've worked at the University of Melbourne and World Innovation Summit for Education. Since then, I've spent a decade inside frontier technology doing the same thing: helping people understand something complex that matters.

How it works:
╭⊱ Free introductory call to see if it's a good fit
╭⊱ We co-create the boundaries of the sessions
╭⊱ Six 1:1 sessions, online
Through storytelling, drawing, and conversation, children build a bridge between their inner world and the adults around them.

I grew up across Singapore, Qatar, and Australia; a third culture kid who learned early to read what people carry before they find words for it.
Pattern Makers draws on speculative fiction I wrote; stories I read aloud in sessions so children have characters to step inside and worlds to respond to.
I work with families, children, and occasionally the organisations building the digital world they're inheriting.
There's more to the story. You can find my work for adults at Dayvan Studios, and the Institute of Web Energetics on Substack. Based in Portugal.
