The child isn't the student here, they're the researcher. I'm the translator, and I believe it's time for children to paint the future of the internet bright.

Your child already knows things about the digital world that you don't. Pattern Makers helps them find the words for it, and helps you understand what they're actually experiencing.

I've worked at the University of Melbourne and World Innovation Summit for Education. Since then, I've spent a decade inside frontier technology doing the same thing: helping people understand something complex that matters.

Pattern Makers draws on speculative fiction I wrote; stories I read aloud in sessions so children have characters to step inside and worlds to respond to.

Hi I'm Vesta, the person behind Dayvan Studios.

Growing up across Singapore, Qatar, and Australia, I learned early to read what people carry before they find words for it.

My first experience in education was as a teaching assistant at a Reggio Emilia early childhood centre.
